The challenge.
Lockdown made people reluctant to spend on non-essentials. Most ecommerce revenue arrives in November and December, and weak summer months left too little to invest ahead of that peak.

What PUSH did.
PUSH researched and tested audiences in the first months to find the key market, then kept adding new ones. When many advertisers paused in the first lockdown, Facebook costs fell, and PUSH changed the account structure to use that cheaper reach.
Planning for Black Friday began in September, with campaigns live in October and assets ready weeks early. PUSH added two new scaling techniques, launched two further European markets and matched Google campaigns to the Facebook plan.
